Precautions before installing a diaphragm accumulator

Check the accumulator and equipment
Confirm that the accumulator model and specifications meet the requirements. If the pressure of the hydraulic system or equipment exceeds the maximum working pressure of the accumulator, a pressure reducing valve needs to be installed at the front end of the accumulator.
Check the appearance of the accumulator to see if it is intact and not damaged or deformed, and whether the liquid end connection thread matches the pipeline interface. If it does not match, prepare the adapter in advance (note: the sealing form of the adapter and the maximum pressure).

Clean the pipeline
Due to the existence of a flexible diaphragm inside the diaphragm accumulator, impurities retained in the pipeline will damage the diaphragm and shorten the life of the accumulator. Before installation, the pipeline, pump, hydraulic cylinder, etc. can be cleaned with fluid.

Confirm the installation position
The diaphragm accumulator can be installed in any position. In systems with contamination problems, we recommend vertical installation and inserting the fluid port downward into the pipeline. When not installed vertically, it is recommended to use an accumulator clamp for fixing.

Prepare tools
Prepare necessary installation tools, such as adjustable wrenches, screwdrivers, pressure gauges, etc.

Pre-charge gas
Pre-charge nitrogen pressure as required. When placing an order, MILEHERTZ will help customers pre-charge the required pressure.

Safety inspection
Ensure the safety of the working area, operators wear protective equipment, and confirm that all hydraulic valves and other possible switches in the system are in the closed state.
Adequate preparation before installation will help avoid safety accidents during the installation process and improve installation efficiency and quality.
